This painting didn't come together as smoothly as some do. I spent many many hours on the details. And, as is often the case with more difficult painting, what came out on the other side I aboslutely loved. The "lovebirds" refer to the two circling bald eagles. When two bald eagles like this are seen together, they are most likely a mated pair. These lovebirds mate for life, together year after year.
